Hi all

this is my first post. I am 59 and have had irregular bleeding and physical exam showed bulky uterus now awaiting scan - just really terrified.

Hello Cyrill0000

Not knowing is just awful because you imagine all the worst case scenario’s.

In reality your team are taking you seriously and they are carrying out tests to determine what’s wrong starting with the most serious option. This in itself is not a diagnosis.

Please don’t google because you will find all the out of date scary statistics.

I don’t know who is around you but it would be good to find someone that you can unburden to. This might be a friend or a family member who is not so close they can’t stay neutral and just let you talk about your fears.

It won’t be long before you get some clarity, let’s hope it’s something else but if it does turn out to be OC we are here for you and we have some very positive stories to share xx
