Dear all, sorry that i wrote so much last days, but i am so stressed, and doctor is not so good in hospital, we dont understand anything. Mom have cobra yday and they put tube in nose to the stomach, now everything go out true this, she already drink yogurt and water and juice, but that all went out to pocket, that must be like that? Or that mean that here is still something blocked? in stomach there is no cancer, but as writem there is Gastrostasis i dont know is it same as bowel obstruction or not? as bowels in CT scan looks OK. but the problem is on upper floor, near the in the lord pylorus there is mass with 3,5cm maybe that mass didnt give food to go down.. i dont know, and what there can be done i dont know, as i understand surgery is not an option as there is to much spots all over abdomen, but if this mass cant give her eat and drink... that mean this is the end?

I havent experienced this but as I understand it they put in the tube to stop vomiting and rest the gut so that it has a chance to mend itself.

That she’s being allowed water and yoghurt sounds good to me even if little is getting through, some will be. xx

I have no experience of what your Mum is experiencing and can only think of suggesting a second opinion. I hope they find a successful treatmwnt plan.

However, I have experienced trying to support my Mum with oesophagal cancer and I really just wanted to say how hard it can be and that my thoughts are with you as you try to get the best for your Mum xx
