first appointment at christies

I am glad to hear that you have an appointment. Not sure that working f/t is beneficial if you have such pain.
Could you have a chat with work and see if they could cut you some slack? xx
Agree with Lyndy2 about talking to work. Maybe chatting with the Ovacome Support team (0800 008 7054) can help you think through the ways of talking with your employer as well as any legal aspects? It may help you put yourself first and be kind to yourself? Take care. L
pleased you have your appointment but I agree that working full time isn’t great . Have you spoken with Macmillan Cancer ? I understand that you can get financial support . Also talk to the team at Christie’s as they might have a department that can help with applying for financial support . It would be great if you could either give up work or go part time and give your body a chance to recover . Wishing you well . 🙏❤️
hi cazy1010. There is a Maggie centre across the road from the Christie’s. They can offer help and support. Hope they get you sorted on Tuesday with your pain.
Agree with the other ladies - get signed off asap! And get some proper pain relief in place once you have a treatment plan. The Christie is a great hospital and I'm sure you'll find lots of support there, as well as good treatment.
I agree with the others working full time is just too much for you at the moment the Maggie centre will give you lots of sound advice . Good luck with everything but get some sound advice theres plenty out there.Love & hugs SheilaFxxx
I hope you get some relief sorted at your appt. The Maggie's centre is such a great source of support, definitely worth popping in. Even for a brew and a chat, the staff, the volunteers, even the building itself and outdoor space is so welcoming too. Xx
