Hi All

What have you got planned for Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month 2023?

This will be the first March since the pandemic that we have all been able get back out there in person. We’re wanting to make a real go of it and are asking as many people as possible to get involved! Help our community raise funds to support our life changing services and growing programme of talks, workshops and events, and raise awareness about the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, for which there is no screening test.

Why not host an event in your local community or at work? Whether a raffle, bake sale, craft sale, pub quiz or coffee morning, there are so many ways you can get stuck in.

For any event you organize, we can give you products from our shop to sell, plus awareness materials to give out. We’ll even send you an Ovacome T-shirt.

As Ovacome receives no government funding, we really do depend on the donations and fundraising of kind individuals to create community for those living with and beyond ovarian cancer. We recognise cancer diagnosis can be very isolating, that’s why we work to create spaces where those affected can come together, share their experiences and lend encouragement to one another in a safe and supportive environment.
