This is to introduce you to our new member of staff in the West Midlands, Laura Nott. Laura is our Regional Support Hub Co-ordinator and will be based at the White House Cancer Centre in Dudley.
Laura will be looking to build relationships with community services and raise awareness about ovarian cancer. She will be the member of staff focused on ensuring people affected by ovarian cancer in the West Midlands feel well supported by the Ovacome community.
If you have any suggestions or comments about ovarian cancer and the West Midlands Laura would love to hear from you. Her email is l.nott@ovacome.org.uk or you can ring her on 07586 899334.
I'm sure many of you will meet Laura at our events, and she'll become a familiar face to our members beyond the West Midlands too.
Best wishes

Thank you for the kind introduction, Anna, and hello to you all.
I would indeed love to hear from people in or around the West Midlands, so please do get in touch. I also look forward to meeting members from further afield at upcoming events.
Just in case it’s not on your list, the Hamar Centre at Shrewsbury hospital supports patients with cancer. It may be worth linking up with them as they have a meeting room.
Good afternoon Anthea, thanks so much for getting in touch and for your valued offer of support. Are you happy to e-mail me at l.nott@ovacome.org.uk please? We can arrange a time to talk about how you would like to be involved.
