Hello, my suggestion is Johnson’s baby shampoo and Johnson’s baby conditioner, I have found it to be incredibly gentle on my hair with a lot of people commenting on the condition of my hair. Hope it works for you xx
Grow Gorgeous is a good range and gentle on your scalp x
I look for sulfate-free shampoo/conditioner. One consideration for curly hair is that you might need to wash it much less (tends to be drier - the itchiness might be dry scalp). I had very curly hair before I lost it to the chemo, it came back much finer and less curly. I wash only every third day or so, and I use a sulfate-free thickening shampoo. You might want to look at naturallycurly.com if you want to encourage your new curly look. They have several techniques you might not be aware of if you haven't had curly hair before. Best wishes! Hi. My scalp is occasionally itchy and skin tends to break out every now and then, since chemo. I've been using H&S classic which seems to sooth the skin. You might find yourself adopting a bit of a trial-and-error attitude, until you find some mild shampoo/conditioner that works for your post-chemo hair and scalp. It's like adding insult to injury, after losing all your hair to begin with . Best of luck. xx Maus
