I joined this forum back in March after my mother was told she needed to have chemotherapy for a second time.
Everyone was so supportive and I just wanted to say a big thank you to you all.
My mother died on 27th September, a month after her final chemotherapy session and a week after being told that the cancer had invaded her bowel. She was kept pain free and in peace thanks to the amazing nurses at my local hospital.
I send my very best wishes to you all and thank you once again for the advice and kindness you were willing to share with me.

I am so very sorry to hear of your Mom's passing you were an amazing Daughter! Even though she is no longer suffering and the wonderful hospital kept her pain free. Grief is a personal journey no ones is the same cry when you need to, pamper yourself and you will get to the other side loosing a Mom was the hardest loss I ever went thru but eventually I got to the sunny side of the street. Hugs from Chicago
I am so sorry to hear that your dearest Mum has passed from this dreadful disease, sending love as you work through your grief over the coming weeks and months. 🙏
I am very sorry to hear that your mother passed away so quickly but glad that she died peacefully. It sounded like she was a very strong woman who was fighting this dreadful disease to the very end. I lost my own mother (not cancer) 26 yrs ago & still miss her so much so I know how you are feeling. I hope the wonderful memories you have of your mother will get you through the difficult days ahead without her. Hugs
