Sex whilst taking Niraparib

I saw a post earlier about sex during chemo and I had heard that you should not have unprotected sex as the chemo could effect your partner. Does anyone know if this is the same when taking PARPS?

Good question Jingles6, not sure what the answer is. My Olaparib leaflet talks about not getting pregnant or breast feeding…I would assume it’s ok but you could check with your CNS? Parpis are still cytotoxic to an extent but given that you have to swallow 6 enormous pills daily to get their effect, I doubt skin to skin contact would be an issue…. But this is only a guess xx
