Since I've realised that I will probably be leaving the party early I sometimes feel very sad. Yet at the same time, small pleasures are thrown into high relief. I thought I would make myself a place to post positive things about my days. If anyone else would like to join in I'd be delighted.
A good thing about today was I went for a walk with my husband and found a community orchard that I didn't know existed. The sky was so blue .
A good thing today was the beautiful sun and I did some gentle gardening sat in the garden with my hubby drinking tea and forgot for a short while about OC x
The right tea in the right container is definitely a good thing .
I got a huge unexpected hug from my 16 year old grandson. He is not generally (ever) physically affectionate. He was with his mom when they came to my home to pick up his little brother who had spent the day with me. As his little brother was gathering his things, he jumped out of his moms car, ran in the house, and said "I just wanted to give you a hug, Gramma."I was pretty teary after that. I treasure it.
That sounds lovely. My daughter is in her early 20s and has taken to given me random, brief wordless hugs at the moment.Keeps me going .

I will also probably leave the party early but I am grateful that I have not had the horrible side effects I see other poor ladies having. I walked 8000 steps today and the dog is worn out!

A good thing about today was that even though the ground was covered with snow the sun was shinning brightly as I watched a lot of robins eating berries from the tree in my front yard from my window

A good thing about today is that I have been on a two week break from Olaparib and feel good— while being on holiday in St. Martin.

A good thing about today was making part of my 8 year old Granddaughters costume for World Book day. First time I've had my overlocker out in nearly three years. Little things mean such a lot. X

Hi..She is going in as Luna Lovegood, from Harry Potter. She was allowed to start reading the books last year and loves them. My daughter is a Primary teacher too so she always goes in dressed up! It's a great day all round. X
A good thing about today was watching my 22 year old daughter at our local community grocery. A very elderly gentleman asked her what the passion fruit were as he had never seen them before. Due to their appearance he then asked if they had gone off. She explained and he was warned that while it tasted great the inner did look a lot like frog spawn. He clearly viewed her as an expert. What she didn't tell him was that much of her passion fruit experience derives from porn star martinis! Intrigued he popped one in his basket. Never too late for new experiences ...

A good thing about today was that the daffodils I planted in the autumn made it through the winter and are dancing into spring. There are hopes of lavender for summer.
