Ovacome is looking to talk to anyone with ovarian cancer who lives in the UK and is on a low income about how this has affected your experience of ovarian cancer. This is so we can feedback to clinicians who attend our education sessions about some of the barriers patients on a low income face.
Receiving a cancer diagnosis can cause money worries on top of all the other anxieties as it can impact your ability to work and your household income. You may be relying on benefits or struggling to cover costs of transport to appointments or parking fees if you drive.
If you would be interested in sharing your experience with us and providing a quote, please email Molly at m.andrew@ovacome.org.uk . You can also talk through this with a member of our support team by calling the support line on 0800 008 7054 or 07503 682 311.
Best wishes

Thank you for your comment. You can provide a quote by emailing a couple of sentences about your experience of how being on a low income has affected your experiences of ovarian cancer to m.andrew@ovacome.org.uk . You are welcome to write more than this if you like.
Any quotes we receive will be used anonymously in educational presentations Ovacome gives to clinicians, as well as in the follow-up resource we send to them.
We are also looking for people who would be happy to be filmed talking about their experiences over Zoom or possibly in person (depending on location).
If you would like to have a chat about the project you are welcome to call me on 07470 601571.
Thank you very much for getting in touch with us and I am sorry that the email bounced back. If you are happy to try again, you can contact us by sending an email to the address below instead:
