Bloating pain

Hello friends I am getting carbo/caylex

for first reoccurrence. I am getting too

much bloating pain, sometime like labour

pain. My oncologist said there is nothing for bloating. Any suggestion please.

Hi. When you say bloating is it like ascites or like wind? If the former they might need to do a scan? Maybe you should call the Ovacome helpline? I hope someone can advise you. Xx

Hi Delia, it's like wind moving in my abdomen. I did have CT scan on Nov 12.They did not tell me the results yet. Thanks for your reply.

When I had wind after surgery I found massaging my abdomen in a clockwise direction helped. Also try lying on back with legs together raise knees with feet flat on bed and lower knees to left and right side of body. Then lie on side in foetal position to try and pass wind. Babies with wind have gripe water not sure if anything in it that we can’t have would need to ask dr. I never tried it. Good luck xx

Phazyme (simethicone) has helped me with gas in the past. It’s an over the counter medication. Other thing is to avoid carbonated beverages. I love ginger ale and diet sodas, but have really had to limit my consumption. Hope you feel better soon, Harp. Best wishes from Louisiana,

If it’s wind or gas I call it, I take charcoal tablets which relieve it. All natural
