Ovarian cancer and atrial fibrillation

Hi lovely people hope someone can help, my mums carboplatin after 6 months hasn’t worked and her ca125 is going up already she only finished a month ago. The disease has spread on one side on the scan. Since she’s had this she has only had carbo as plaxitaxol gave her chest pain’s. She tried niraparib but that stopped working. My question is had anybody else had different chemo with AF really appreciate some help. Love to all Ali xx

Hi, After 18 weeks of CarboPlatin / Taclipaxel am now on Letrozole (breast cancer drug,am hormone sensitive) Hope this helps!! Am coping ok, so far 3 months. All the erybest to your mum &you, IsideX

Aww thanks for your information I’m sure it will work well for you as you had two chemos together other ladies seem to do well on what you’ve had glad you are coping. We are going to see dr Krell in london next week for mum so hopefully he can come up with something Love Ali xx

Hi. Take a look or call the 'cancer research UK helpline via their website. They maybe able to advise you. I know that on researching for myself AF was mentioned as an exclusion to caeylx being given but don't know what options there are. Good luck.x
