Hi all, I am new here. I was diagnosed Feb 14, 2020, with stage 3 Had 6 rounds of chemo then Surgery and 3 more chemo. Been on Lynparza since then but my CA125 is on the rise again. I guess I am checking in to see how others have managed with the Doxil/Avastin treatment, as this will be a new one for me . I pray we ALL kick this disease a good one and have a good and long life.

Just posting to say hi and welcome to the club that nobody really wants to join. I have not had the drugs you mention but you'll find a lovely bunch of ladies on here whom I'm sure will be along shortly to offer their experience, support and words of wisdom. Wishing you all the best as you go forward. Jackie x

Hi welcome to the positive club were all in this together. I have not been on the drugs you've mentioned but hopefully there doing the job. You've not had a covid jab recently have you, don't know why but it raised my Ca125 slightly for a month but then it came down. Anyhow stay positive and keep well. Love & hugs Sheila xx

Hi! Just wanted to say hello. You have come to the right place as all the ladies on here are so helpful & give lots of encouraging advice especially when you are confused or feeling a bit down. I didn't have doxil/avastin together but had 19 avastin treatments starting it in combination with my last few carbo/taxol chemo . I tolerated it well except for a bit of neuropathy in my feet & some joint stiffness especially in the morning when I woke up but once I got moving it was OK. Hope you won't have any symptoms with your combination & it works well for you. Xx Mag

Thank you for the word of encouragement. I am sorry that there are so many of us on this journey but being able to explain how I feel to other people who are or have been there before me does help. I feel there is a reason for all of this and I hope I can help someone as much as you are helping me cope. Blessings to all and keep strong, Thank you Lolly

I was on Lynparza for a little over 2 years when CA125 started to slowly rise. In 2018 I was on Carboplatin/Doxil no Avastin. I had no problem with Lynparza but no longer taking. In May of this year cancer came back. I am to finish my last chemo soon on Carboplatin/Taxol along with Avastin. Doing good except for getting Covid and in hospital for 11 days but home and on the mends Good thoughts for you and never give up fighting. I’ve been fighting since 2001.
