We wanted to share with you the sad news that Jane Hatfield (forum name DouglasPouch) died at home on Saturday 22nd May. Her family told us they were next to her till her last breath.

Jane was an active member of the forum – her family told us that the exchange of views and experiences with the forum was an important part of her journey of living and dying of ovarian cancer.

We have offered our condolences to Jane's family. We know this is a very sad loss for the forum, so if it would help to talk anything through, please get in touch with our Support Service on 0800 008 7054.

We would also be happy to pass any messages to Jane's family.
