Morning ladies. Has anyone had any experience of the Rotterdam regimen? I was told last week that my cancer is terminal and this is the best option to give me as long as possible. Obviously devastated but I’m determined to fight as long as I can, especially for my 10 year old daughter. I was only diagnosed last year at grade 2, got the all clear in September after platinum chemotherapy but it came back within months- scan in jan showed it in many places. Chemo and clinical trial DICE hasn’t had an affect so pinning my hopes on this. This forum is so full of hope and positivity, hoping you can send some my way xxx

Rotterdam regimen - any experience?
Hi there
Sorry to hear what you’re going through.I have no experience of the Rotterdam trial but I know other ladies on here have.I just wanted to say have you looked into integrative or alternative methods of healing.Have you read How to starve cancer by Jane Mcelland or looked in care oncology clinic? I think with oc we need to throw as much at it as we can.
Much love to you xx
Thank you, I've just been follow ing the Doctors advice to be honest but definitely time to look at alternatives as well xx
I am so sorry about what you have been told. It breaks the heart to hear it and even more to know that you have a daughter that she is only eight. Keep the fight on for both of you and for your family. Many in here were told the same and even were given a few months to live and they've come back and proved them wrong. You can do it!
There are a few ladies who have been on the Rotterdam regime and I am sure they'll get back to you once they got a chance to read your post.
Sending you a very big hug xxx
Hello!
There are a few of us having treatment on this regime with pretty good results. It is not an easy one but none of them are really.
I will contact you x
Hello Dichad
I'm currently half way through the RR which is my 5th line of treatment since diagnosis in Jan 2017 of Stage 4 HG Serous OC. So far have found the side effects similar to previous treatments involving Carbo & Cisplatin - which for me are feeling 'grotty' on days 5 & 6 after treatment and a little more lethargic. But have managed to function as normal othewise.
I've had wonderful support from a couple of other ladies on this forum who are a few weeks ahead of me in treatment terms. I find knowing that their side effects & experiences may be different to mine reassuring.
Having my next tel. consultation on Tues so hope I've responded well enough to have the next part of the treatment on Weds.
If you have any questions please ask.
Big hugs (& don't we all need them!)
Lynn
