Scheduled COVID vaccine at Walmart

FYI for our stateside teal sisters I have waited for Louisiana to drop COVID vaccine eligibility from 70 to 65. The change is effective today. I got online shortly after midnight and was able to book an appointment on February 14th at a Walmart. Had to create an online Walmart account and then open that account and create a pharmacy account which then allowed me schedule the vaccine appointment. I wanted to get my shots while in remission. If one location has no appointments, try another. 💪🏽

Hi Sashay, I’m in Michigan and I am on the waiting list too. Not Walmart though. My husband and I are in our 70’s and our appt. will be coming soon. Donna

I’m glad to hear that , Donna. Waiting to make an appointment has been nerve wracking. I hope you are staying warm and safe with the treacherous weather. I spent some of my younger years growing up in rural Indiana amidst the corn and soybean fields. Ice storms can wreak havoc, but I can’t think of anything more beautiful that waking up on a cold sunny morning to find everything covered in snow and ice. The whole world seemed to sparkle with diamonds. 🙂
