COVID VACCINE UPDATE.....................

Hello Ladies thank you all for your insight on the vaccine. I decided to go and get it over and done with, and have been along to the surgery this afternoon. Didn't feel a thing, and was told to possibly only expect arm ache for a couple of days and perhaps a headache over the weekend.

I was glad I went as with the for cast of snow tomorrow it is possible we wont get out for bloods on Monday or for Tuesday Chemo, we live on the highest point of the north downs and even a cm of snow always causes chaos, the main roads in and out of our village don't get gritted and we consequently often get "snowed in"

So for this afternoon its feet up, chocs out and a good movie. Stay safe Lyn xx

That’s good news Lyn. I had mine a week ago. No problems and very efficient system. I feel less anxious about it but not rushing out to shops or going anywhere other than walks with my husband. The fields are waterlogged and with the coming freeze I think I’ll be staying home as can’t risk slipping on the pathways. Putting on old DVD’s and enjoying the classics! X

Hello Lyn - I had mine yesterday and didn’t feel anything but my arm is quite sore today. I was told that would last a couple of days but other than that nothing else at this stage.

I had my surgery and 6 chemotherapy sessions last year and they finished in October and am into my third month of Niraparib 200mg daily now.

Best wishes - Yvonne
