cyst has dissapeared

hi friends, good news is that my 5cm complex has resolved itself, i had a repeat tv scan and they were pleased with how everything looked. The only concern is my tummy is very bloated which is unsual for me, i look like im in the early stages of pregnancy. we have no ideawhats causing the bloat as the cyst are gone, i have a tiny fibroid but its not that causing it. Any ideas? probably not gynaecological, i've had a ct scan last week and haven't heard anything back so that's another positive.

thanks sue x At the moment i'm finding the bloat difficult to live with, it doesn't go down just protudes through my clothes. I'm not happy for the gynae or gp to leave me like this as it's too abnormal for me. I have a telephone consultation at the end of feb ( i think it is positive news about my scan because all my appointments have been at the hospital) so i'll probably get discharged from gynae, i guess it'll be upto my GP to help me figure out why i look pregnant (100%not)

Okay I didn't realise it was that bad, mine resolves itself and comes back ie I get a lot of wind. Definitely don't let this go as it is something else. Good luck and take care Sue xx

Hi pleased your cyst has disappeared, could I ask if you’ve had any treatment i.e. chemo or operation? After a transvaginal ultrasound last November, due to bloating and raised CA125 I was told I had a large cyst on my right ovary and sent for an urgent ct scan. The ct scan showed no cyst, my CA125 is coming down and after having my stomach drained of 8.5 litres of fluid twice and 2 biopsies I have been told there are no cancer cells but I still have bloated stomach. My Oncologist is mystified because he’d only expect this after treatment and I’ve had no treatment at all! I’m at present awaiting the results of a MRI scan - I don’t know what to think either, any ideas anyone?

Very glad that your cyst has resolved itself. Sounds like you have had a full MOT 😁. If it were me I would continue investigations to find the cause if it was worrying me. Fingers crossed for a clear CT scan - if the gynaecological team cannot find anything perhaps you can ask their advice for where to go next, then back to your GP, I guess, for further referrals? Love from Mel xx 💖
