So Sept 11th is my last Chemo, woot woot. Just ordered my cake which says Congrats Chemo Grad. Know in my heart this is going to be a long road, but so happy to have this part behind me. Here comes feeling better, being cancer free - crossing fingers and toes and growing out my hair.
Cheers 🥂

Originally they talked about a Parp inhibitor but because my diagnosis changed from Ovarian to Womb they won’t be doing it at this moment. But I am PALB2 positive, so who knows. Will be seeing the Oncologist on Thursday.
Well done ! you have probably just got through one of the hardest things that life can throw at you & you have still come out with a sense of humour so enjoy your cake 🍰 & keep treating yourself as you recover & build up your strength. Take care Xx
Congratulations, Shelly! So pleased for you. I just finished chemo 3 of 6 last week. Your good news lifted my spirits and gives me hope that I can hang in there and complete chemo.
Hi - I am on Avastin and am finding it fine - I have it at the same time as the chemo, but I am on my 5th of 6 next week and will continue with Avastin once the chemo finished,. It did give me a slight nose bleed but otherwise fine.
Okay, certainly not as bad as chemo. I have to watch diarrhea/constipation and get aches and pains through rheumatism but really doable. Do watch the blood pressure I have porridge, dark chocolate (not bad) and beetroot juice to try and keep mine down. Apart from that fine. Good luck, Sue xx
Good for you! Nice to have a milestone to celebrate. Hope you recover well, be kind to yourself though, only do what you can and each day you should feel that bit better xx Kathy xx
