Just a quick question. Has anyone taken aloe vera juice while having chemo. I was taking it prior to treatment but not sure if I should carry on taking it x

My mom drinks it daily with soursop juice, she’s on a parp inhibitor and has not had any issue if that helps

Definitely ask oncologist. Many fruit juices are CYP 4 inhibitors which affect metabolism and can make your treatment stay in your body longer and therefore increase the side effects.

Been told NOT to take it as it interferes with chemo. X
