About to have my third chemo of Caelyx

Caelyx seems to be much harder than my previous 6 treatments of Paclitaxol and Carboplatin. Mouth full of ulcers, very sore, hard to eat. Very tired and losing strength

I was exactly the same when I first started Carbo/Caelyx last year. I had the caelyx reduced to 70% and was able to carry on until the last infusion with less side effects. The end result was good and reduced my 3 tumours by 2/3rds. I still have the 3 tumours and I'm on Rucaparib at the moment but not sure if it's working. Try to persevere as it could be worth it in the end.

All the best to you and much love

Hope your medications are working, I’ve ended up in hospital on UV antibiotics and oxygen, hope to be back home quickly
