I have had many responses to my post about abraxane. Thank you to all of you who took the time to give me your advice. I really appreciate it. Had my 1st infusion yesterday afternoon and apart from the nurses having 4 goes at inserting a cannula the day went well. To date I'm feeling no ill effects....just a little heartburn in the early hours this morning. I'm arranging to have a port fitted hopefully before next week's treatment. Virtual hugs to all on here and keep as well as you possibly can.

Good to hear Lynn! I too have tiny veins and it’s always an andventure to get IV in so I’m following you closely as I’m a week behind you and starting next Thursday. xo Debbi

I have tine veins to but I wish you all the best with your port, I would imagine, I will be doing the same once my blood pressure settles enough for sedation
