Saying goodbye to my Alien

Hi girls,well tomorrow is the day I will be admitted to hospital as the date of departure for the Alien is Tuesday the 23rd.The Alien became quickly attached to me and after PET scans I could see him clearly nesting away in my pelvis.It seem he loved being on my main artery in my pelvis but I'm afraid like all good things ,his end is near!! I use the masculine term for my Alien because at the end of the day,many men set up home but leave it to the women to tend!!

I'm to remain on Olaparib as it has maintained the O.C for over three years,it's not a cure but it maintains the o.c at a level that can be treated either by surgery,radiation or infused Chemo,and that will do me nicely.I know this is the 50th Anniversary of the moon landing but Buzz Aldrin will have competition with my little Alien!one small step for womankind one giant leap for Ovarian Cancer!! Thinking of all of you .xxxxx

Just to wish you the very best for tomorrow.You are fighting the same aliens 😱 that I wrote about three years ago on this website. Well the little creatures that invaded my pelvis were not beaten during my last chemo either. Is your recurrence in your Peri Aortic lymph nodes by any chance ? If so what surgery is being done. I would really be so grateful to find out so I can perhaps have a second opinion . If you're up to it please me know by PM if you would prefer. I will be praying for a successful outcome for you in the meantime.
