Dear All

We have been approached to help with recruitment into a study at the University of Liverpool to improve understanding about partners worrying that cancer will recur.

The information is as follows:

You will be asked to complete a brief survey that should take between 20 – 30 minutes. The survey will ask you about how you think and feel about your partner’s cancer returning and also about your own experiences of anxiety, low mood and worry. You will not be identified from the responses that you give in the survey and the information you do provide will remain confidential.

To find out further information, please contact:

Louise O’Rourke, l.o-rourke@liverpool.ac.uk

or Dr Peter Fisher, plfisher@liverpool.ac.uk

Alternatively, click on the link below to read more about the study

My husband did this survey, and found it helpful to analyse his feelings. Being a Yorkshire-man he was not brought up to do that.

Have done this survey although, to be honest, I don't think it will tell them anything we don't already know. Do we worry about our partner's cancer recurring? - no, of course, we don't......duh!
