Thank you ladies for your support. I am home from hospital after 9 days and have spent my first night in my own bed. I feel battered and bruised and a little emotional but so glad that surgery part is over. I will now start my recovery with the support of my amazing partner and family and friends. Ladies from my WI have all rallied round to make sure my 87 year old mum had had plenty of support. Now itโ€™s up to me to get stronger x๐ŸŒป

So glad to hear you are safely back at home.

And also so glad to hear that your friends and family have been so supportive.

It is amazing how much the right kind of care and attention from our friends can uplift us.

And family rallying around us is essential.

Congratulations and best wishes,

And gentle hugs,

Laura

๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ’Hope you feel less battered and bruised in a day or two. Don't try and do too much - pace yourself and gradually you'll feel stronger. How nice of your WI friends to keep an eye on your Mum. Hope she was ok.

Love, Solange ๐Ÿ˜Š

Lovely to hear you're home. Take good care of yourself and let your wonderful friends continue their caring ways. Once you're strong and feeling well is the time to resume your caring. Take time to invest in getting there. Get well wishes winging their way. ๐Ÿ˜˜๐Ÿ’

Congratulations on getting the surgery over and done with and, of course, getting back to your own bed, now you can start to heal. Take small steps, your body will let you know when youโ€™ve done enough. Let everybody look after you, take the drugs the hospital has given you especially the painkillers and laxatives, eat lots of nice and nutritious food, be kind to yourself and get well soon. Gentle hugs โค๏ธXx Jane

Isn't it wonderful to sleep in your own bed and be able to raid your own refrigerator? I was on a liquid diet for the whole 10 days I was in the hospital. I could not WAIT to have pizza! Glad you are home and feeling ok. Take it easy and listen to your body! Take all the help offered and I hope recovery is swift!

lovely to hear happy news like this. Nothing nicer than your own bed apart from pizza on a tray when you are in that bed! I hope you have a happy, restful recovery.
