I attended the above conference,organised by the National Forum of Gynaecological Oncology Nurses at the beginning of the month. I was humbled by the level of committment of the group of clinical gynae nurse specialists who,not only organised the above conference;
they also organised an evening out for the delegates and exhibitors at the Love The Dogs, where the bonding began with gains and losses!
The talks and presentations were focused on patient-centered care, with the speakers sharing their knowledge of local innovations in practice. A panel discussion incorporated the need to go forward with formalising nurse-led services and clinics so as to improve existing levels of care of patients.
The conference encouraged networking and sharing of uplifting ideas about working together for a common purpose.
