Dear All

There is a free place for a patient/carer/family member at the All Party Parliamentary Group for Cancer (APPGC) conference available. It's taking place on Tuesday 4 December in London

You can view the programme here: cvent.com/events/britain-ag...

This is some of the promotional info:

"This year’s conference marks the 20th anniversary of the APPGC. Key focus’ of the day will be to look back at the progress that the Britain Against Cancer Conference has made to the cancer community, as well as looking forward to the future of cancer care in the UK.

This year’s anniversary conference keynote speakers will include Senior members from NHS England and Government representatives who play an active role in implementing the Cancer Strategy, providing them with a platform to address and update the cancer community on progress.

Our expert panel will be back, as well as our brand new Speaker’s Stage. Discussions will see us reflect on where we have come from, the future of cancer services and what still needs to be done to improve outcomes for patients from leading healthcare professionals, charity representatives and leading pharmaceutical providers."

If you are interested in attending, please private message me. I will need to pass your details on to Cancer 52, who are the charity who have the free place to offer, so please confirm you are happy for me to do this and I will forward your details.

Best wishes

Anna

Sorry Anna - I’d have liked to volunteer, but I’m not sure it’s a good idea 6 days after chemo!!

Hope you are well, love Ali x
