Hello all you lovely ladies.

I am attending a conference organised by Targat Ovarian Cancer at Reading University on September 13th. Was just wondering if anyone else is going.

I am thinking about it but will be costly as it doesn't coincide with my treatment in London.

This damned disease gets in the way of everything.

Good luck with your treatment. Where do you live?

That is a very long way.

Try getting in touch with Target Ovarian Cancer, they may be organising something nearer to you in the future.

When is your London appointment?

Hi Kathy

I might go the only thing is I could be starting immunotherapy drug on the 10th and I am wondering how quickly any side effects might kick in probably not that early I hope. It's the same one you are on so could you let me know how quickly you had a reaction if any please.

Thanks Maureen xx

Hello,

I’ve been on the treatment for about six weeks and the only symptom I have had is constipation. The doc gave me tablets in anticipation of this. She also gave me a mouthwash which I haven’t needed. I also had to have a talk with pharmacist who told me to keep out of the sun and to wear a hat. I’m doing my best but I am on holiday in Spain. Bit tricky!

Good luck and hopefully see you there. I’ll have my teal ribbon on
