Dear All
World Ovarian Cancer Day takes place on 8 May 2019 and our friends over at Ovarian Cancer Action will be handing out 33,000 white roses with symptoms cards attached. The roses represent the number of British women currently living with the disease and are a symbol of hope for a world without ovarian cancer.
Ovarian Cancer Action looking for volunteers who are available from 5.00 - 7.30pm on Wednesday 8 May to hand out white roses in a number of different locations in the UK (mainly central stations). They are especially keen to hear from anyone in Leeds and Liverpool.
More information about this campaign and how you can volunteer is at the following link: ovarian.org.uk/roses and you can also contact forum member Purple-iris who is helping to organise the event. Please private message Purple-iris and she'll be happy to help with any queries you have.
Best wishes
Anna
