Hi Laura it's Bubbles husband Martin, I have some very sad news Laura, my Beautiful Michelle has passed away peacefully on the 19 of Feb. As a lot of you will know on this forum Michelle had brain mets diagnosed in November despite having wbrt on 27 Dec there were lots of side effects went down hill after this. Hope everything is well with you ladies 'ichelle was very fond of you all xxx Michelle's Husband Martin xx

Dear friends,

This is a crushing blow. She did everything she could. Took everything that was offered. Did her research.

She was BRCA1 positive and should have responded well to treatment.

She was very young also. Only 52 years old at the end.

This is such a tragic ending.

This is so brutal.

The idea of brain mets is terrifying. I feel awful that she couldn’t get the treadment she needed quick enough.

Her husband and daughter must be devastated.

It seems we have lost so many recently. I read their posts over and over, looking for a clue to why they could not survive.

Is it just the luck of the draw?

Or did their team let them down?

For every good story, of years in remission, there is another tragedy around the corner.

I know you have another battle on your hands.

Keep fighting. Never take no for an answer.

I agree with you. But luckily I'm currently free of visible / symptomatic cancer.... just dealing with a still-too-high ca125 and Avastin/Letrozole, so basically on a holiday :).
