I went through all the treatment, chemo surgery avastin, and i have a good understanding of what it entails, the only reason i post quotes about spiritual realization is to try and help others ,

I’m sure you have. Glad you find this stuff helps you. However, as one poster says- perhaps 3 posts about your faith in 24 hours is overkill.

For your first post it is not the usual.

Thats not the resonse i received, a lot of people like my posts

A reply to your third post - the person stated 3 posts together was perhaps too much.

I dont want to get into any argument Broad but I have to agree with Petrolhead, whilst I respect your faith Im not sure this forum, where ladies (and gents / loved ones) tend to post their experiences and seek advice at a particularly difficult time of their lives is the right platform. Just my opinion. I actually thought yr posts were spam and aimed at vunerable ladies, of which I am one.

Yes we are all vunerable, i only trying to be of help in the best way i know how.

I fully appreciate your intentions are good but don't believe this is the right platform. Maybe it's time to draw a line under this lets all move forward with what we do best, supporting each other and offering advise where possible xx I hope you are doing well. xx

We'd prefer to hear about your experiences of treatment etc. People's faith is a personal thing and we all have our own beliefs. If you take a read of previous posts you will gain a better understanding of others and how and what we talk about. Many people would see your posts as spam, I'm afraid.

If you’ve been through it we’re not saying don’t post, we’re saying don’t shove religion down our throats, as I replied on one of your previous posts I’m an atheist and find your posts insulting as I’m sure people would find my atheism insulting for their religions that’s called a difference of opinion. People want you to share your experiences of treatment and surgery not posting this spiritual dude can cure you if you believe, it makes you sound like someone promoting propaganda.

Thankyou for your input, no i am not a propogandalist, my spirtual and material existance are entwined together, so i speak of both , i can tell everyone about my paranthetisis which is the process of draining the stomach of fluid, or how to contol vomiting by a vegitarian diet. I want to share the whole experience with everyone. How can i deny what helped me get through it all, and why wouldnt i want to share it with others,

Maybe rethink what you type then, it comes over as insulting and offensive to some of us, I look after someone with OC I’m not saying religion got her through because it hasn’t, she’s a spiritualist and I respect her opinion but she also knows my opinion of it all, which is it’s the meds which keep her here not the unknown! People want to know experiences and side effects suffered, it’s great you found a vegetarian diet helped you with nausea, my special person is vegetarian and she’s found it opposite so started having meat which helped her nausea that’s the type of information people want not as I have said this spiritual dude cured me and got me through it!

I'm glad your beliefs have helped you through, & respect that you have beliefs that are important to you. For me, I'm a Christian, & my beliefs are an important part of me. My Christian faith has helped me cope with life & with cancer & its treatment, & prayers of others have also helped. So I found your recent posts very difficult to cope with. Perhaps if you had just said that your beliefs had helped you through, more people might have been more sympathetic. Di

I agree with Di - I'm glad your faith helped you but because religion (and politics) are such personal subjects I don't think they have a place in a forum like this. I'm an atheist - I find what gets me through are things like constant research, yoga, knitting and conjugating Spanish verbs. I'm sure if I start posting random lists of verbs in odd tenses I'll get a fair amount of stick about it too :-) :-)

My opinion (for what it is worth), the worst thing to post about is religion and politics on a site that is, for Ovarian cancer sufferers past and present.

People need practical advice and ,yes, maybe a trivial natter. Support and what works for them, outside religion and politics, is all good.

We all have different views (and I’m sorry to say your postings go way above my head) I am more about life, grandkids, family, holidays, things that make me happy.

I’m so pleased your thoughts have got you through, but it’s all too deep and meaningful for us wee souls.

I wish you all the best, but please keep things light!,

I have been here a good few years, others more, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,
