Or is it Lucozade? If I was in Scotland I would definitely say Irn-Bru.

Unfortunately not quite the hue of a rose wine ...

True but I’d rather have that through the mouth

Hadn’t thought of that! Just to let you know they told me I may have pink/red wee and when I didn’t I freaked that it wasn’t working! I’ve had no 5 yesterday and still no pink wee....and apparently that is completely normal too!! And CA125 has over halved!

Keep moisturising!!

Thanks. They did warn me too and also about rash, etc. Glad it has worked - brilliant

Yep I do have the rash, like a browning and then peels, seems to be in hot places, under bra, waistband, armpits etc but it’s just a bit uncomfortable and some lovely cold E45 eases it x

Dear Betty,

It is the weirdest stuff, but definitely did the job for me!

Hope it works for you.

Are you having it by itself or with Carboplatin?

I kept all my weird curly hair and killed the cancer, too!

Best of luck,

Laura

Thanks for the encouragement. I am having it with carboplatin. Like you only just got my hair back from last year’s Carbo/pac regime so pleased to hear the funny curls will stay.

One chemo nurse suggested I was having rose, but I think most people think the colour isn't right. Di

Definitely wrong colour and if it was I’d want it orally

I imagined it to look more blood-like colour it actually looks like lucozade.

Good luck with it, i start the same combination as you on Wednesday. I think we can manage with coloured pre if it's savage with the cancer! Xxx
