Incisions Hernia and Insurance

I have used insurancewith on a couple of occasions. The first time I was less than 6 months from finishing chemo. I found them to be really helpful and not expensive either. They do ask lots of questions but they’re really pertinent to our disease.
Good luck, I hope you can get some cover, holidays are so important to us. ❤️Xx Jane
I struggled to get reasonably priced travel insurance, our first quote was £750 for a one week Atlantic cruise. I decided to take recommendations from this forum and eventually went with world first, it was easy to get a quote on line didn't have to ring and speak to anyone. world-first.co.uk the quote for us was £116. Very happy! Good luck.
Hello- will your oncologist provide you with a ‘fit to fly ‘ letter? I have found that this can help if you are struggling to get cover. xx
I have just used Insurance with for a two week holiday in New Zealand. The cost was just under £200. I also have an incisional hernia but it didn't come up in the questionnaire so wasn't mentioned. I have been out of treatment for eighteen months, but did have an operation for a blocked bowel just over a year ago. That bumped the premium up, but I think it is still doable.

Hi Dryden, depends where you are going. For Europe I'd try Euro tunnel insurance- cheapest , as they only ask if you are terminal, and will even cover you then, and then ask that your doc feels you are fit to travel, world wide, try insurewith as they cover specifics.
Good luck, enjoy your hols!
