Good morning Teal sisters. Thank you to everyone who replied to my previous post. I presented all of your comments when I met with Alex Chalk yesterday in Cheltenham. The lovely Linda (Seasun) came with me and we put forward our experiences, concerns and problems encountered in getting diagnosed and the patchy nature of OC treatment provision in the UK. He was extremely sympathetic to our cause and was shocked by how far we trail behind other European countries in survival rates. Alex is not just our MP but is also Parliamentary private secretary to the Health minister. He really wants to get involved and support us but he would like to get behind a campaign already championed by one of the OC support groups and add to that. He thinks this will be the most effective way forward. That is my next job. I will keep you all posted.

Thank you and Linda for raising these concerns. Sounds as though Alex Chalk is a very useful contact. Perhaps Anna and the team at Ovacome could suggest the best campaign for his support. Jo xx
Thank you both for your work on this. Alex sounds a good one, unlike my MP who hasn't even bothered to reply to my email re the debate on Oct 30th.
