Hi
I thought I'd write a quick update as per Admin's suggestion.
Basically (fingers crossed) I'm doing ok. I've just had the MRI and Mammogram results back as I get tested annually (due to being BRCA1) and hurray they came back as not showing anything untoward! Phew!
My CA125 was 9 in August so still down where I'd hope it would be, so I'm continuing with my daily dosage of supplements and (mainly) dairy free, low meat/poultry diet. I totted up the other day and realised that my research has led me to take 13 different tablets daily! I'm with Nicky100 in doing research and aiming to supplement my diet to endeavour to keep myself in the best shape I can to fight off this b*stard disease. If you look hard enough there's some pretty good research being published on various supplements and OC. Just make sure you don't take the word of any non medic/bone fide researcher!
Carpe Diem is still the order of the day and having had some awesome experiences this year - Mexican Mayan ruins, swimming with dolphins and turtles and seeing Pompeii to name a few, I'm turning my thoughts to what to do next year...
Love to all and stay well and positive!
Em

P.S. It was great to see one of the ovacome team at the Guy's and Thomas' BRCA day recently!
