Ouch Julie. Is it a balance/numbness type problem? You could ask your oncologist (or a neurologist for that matter) if it's related to PNP i.e. peripheral neuropathy, caused by the Taxol chemo.
Saying that because I"ve been hit by a little bit of PNP at some point during chemo as well.. feeling foot pain and balance issues when getting up.
It sounds like a more severe issue though if you are on oxygene now. Hope your medical team will have an answer for you soon, and your system will stabilize again. Best of luck. Xx. Maus
So sorry that you are having such a tough time right now. Just wanted to send best wishes that things stabilize and improve very soon.
xx Gina
I suggest you see your gp, get him or her to call if you cant get out. Do you have any district nurse or pain management team calling to you. They are the experts to help you. Thinking of you and sending hugs
Thankyou Suzuki , I do have a district nurse ,and I have there phone numbers.xx
So sorry your having a bad time right now x hoping you get some answers and relief sending hugs and much love

Hi Juliette
Taxol caused me severe neuropathy with legs and knees being very weak causing me to walk with difficulty and not being able to drive for several months. You don’t even want to know how my other half helped to shove (literally) me up the stairs !
As you have needed oxygen it sounds either more severe than mine or a separate issue. Has fluid on the lungs caused you to need oxygen?
Let us know how you get on.
Best wishes
Fay
