My late wife had 6 rounds of 2 chemo drugs Carboplatin and Taxol. Surgery was not possible as the cancer caused an autoimmune anemia that blood her red blood cell count to as low as 36 A normal woman usually 120 to 150. The blood bank could not find offsetting blood for transfusion.
After chemo she was prescribed dexamethosone a steroid to suppress the immune system from destroying red blood cells and ondansetron (Zofran) for nausea. It worked very well even though she was very weak.
Our healthcare system covers these therapies and post chemo drugs. All taxpayers pay into a public insurance covering this including surgery and hospitalization.
Below is a link that lists many nausea drugs used in Canada. The oncologist will know what is best.

The chemo worked but after a month it came back. Before treatment her CA125 was 1017
After 6 rounds CA125 was 8. Then 2 months later 24 and chemo was no longer option. She passed away last yr after 15 months of living with ovarian cancer and autoimmune hemolytic anaemia.
I hope this
