I think Croatia played the ref very well.

Gutted for the team, but as I read yesterday, it’s not 28 years since England was in the semi-finals, it’s only 3. It’s just 28 years since the *men* were in the semi-finals. #Girlpower 🥊

Exactly!. Always annoys me regarding the cricket as over the years the women have had a fantastic team, not that the general public would ever know it!.

And here I had set my hopes on the English boys, since the Germans decided early on that they had an urgent appointment somewhere else, and the Danes (my hubby's nationality) fell prey to the same team. Ah well.. maybe next time.

At least Kryssy 's current home's team is still in it with a chance for the trophy.

Cannot drive down the street for flags and joviality. It is Bastille Day tomorrow - France's biggest national holiday. No peace this weekend then. I was sorry England didn't make it, even though I don't really support them as we don't do footy and I'm too Irish. By all accounts they played well.

The ref was certainly fair to Croatia. But the chaps have done well under Gareth Southgate and played team football which has been a really refreshing change.
