Confused tag name! And an update..:-)

Hello all of you that earlier replied to me! Thank you!! I am now in Manchester and just on the regular Taxol . I came up to discuss a trial and was admitted and ended up in the ward for a couple of weeks! I still wanted to join the trial ( the trial was soooo close but fell at last hurdle - so upset ..) but fingers crossed this regular Taxol is workibg well. Still in lots of pain meds but will be over the moon if I can cut back on those S the tumours shrink 🙏🙏. The next step is to find somewhere to live up here until November!! It’s a little mad but so worth the care I think..

Dear Hope,

Congrats on your brave decision to get a second opinion at the Christie.

It looks to me like you are on the right track for getting the attention and care you need.

I hope that you can get help with lodging whilst there, perhaps even in hospice, but perhaps the MacMillan Cancer charity can help you?

PS: why exactly did you need to be admitted to the ward? We’re you compromised by your symptoms?

Hi Hope. That missed trial is a disappointment but the Christies is surely one of the best sources for new opportunities to come up... hopefully soon. Hope you find lodging soon and the taxol works. Xx. Maus.
