Research volunteers needed

We have been contacted by a company asking for research volunteers for a study they are undertaking on behalf of Cancer Research UK. Here is the information for anyone interested:

We’re currently hoping to recruit people between the ages of 55-75 who have, or have had cancer, in the last 2 years. It would be especially helpful to hear from those from a BAME background or those who are struggling to adjust to life following their treatment.

This research will consist of pre-task activities and a 2-hour interview where an experienced researcher will come to their home (or a place where they feel most comfortable). We will pay £75 as a thank you for participating.

Pre-task activities are:

1x Selfie video: a video telling us all about yourself e.g what are your hobbies

1x ‘Photo pack’: Uploading a photo ‘pack’ containing pictures which represent parts of your life e.g photos of your closest friends, of your favourite place in the world

Activities: 2-3 pages of activities e.g a ‘personal profile’, your health story and sending a card for a loved one

All the material sent will be anonymised and private.
