Last night I had a very restless night couldn’t help pre empting everything in my head.

Today was to me actually good news I am going to have a second surgery, I will have full removal of the upper vagina, and some pelvic lymph nodes removed.

I was told the blanket over the lower diaphragm and the liver is inactive cells with adhesions so that is positive news.

The good thing is my consultant surgeon is going to attempt this with robotic surgery, and only if this fails will he reopen my scar for further laparotomy. So had pre med today and will have surgery on the 30th April, I came out smiling hubby said your like a Cheshire Cat that got the cream.

To me this is very positive news as i believe they wouldn’t try again with surgery unless I had a fighting chance to get back to NED.

Ellsey xx

Great that surgery is an option again, Ellsey.

I would always consider surgery my best chance of beating this disease back again.

All the best for the upcoming high tech op, and that you recover quickly, with no laparotomy needed.

Good news Ellsey, hope all goes well take care Lorraine xx

Great news... NED would be great, but stable disease wouldn't be too bad. x
