Happy Easter, I am up in Scotland today staying with my daughter and grandchildren before flying to Iceland in the morning.
My wonderful son in law drove from Scotland to Berkshire to pick me up then we drove back to Scotland yesterday, I am traveling to Iceland with my beautiful granddaughter Ellie and we are going to make wonderful memories together, I am still a little sore from the laparoscopic surgery on Monday but joyous to be able to tick one of those things on my bucket list before starting treatment again. Have a wonderful Easter.

Oh I am so so so jealous. I love Iceland and want to go back a third time.... it is like nowhere else. You will have been given loads of tips I bet so I will just add - try the bucket bread if you can (baked underground by thermal heat). The Penis Museum is worth a visit in Rejkyavik as is Cafe Babalu, which has great toilets (I won’t say why as it would spoil the surprise but really really worth a go, and not related to the Penis Museum btw. Enjoy !!!!!!!!
