I thought I’d give you a bit of a giggle and tell you about my morning...
I finally plucked up the courage to go to a shopping centre by myself.. I’ve been finding it tough after major surgery resulting in a stoma...
I decided to wear one of my wigs for a change.
Well as I left my house and got into my car a gust of wind blew the wig clean if my head and into the road. 😂So I chased after it bunged it back on my head and went of to the shops!

Funnily enough I went specifically to get a 50th bday card for my hubby whilst I am having a good day and the shop had closed down !😂yes I do have a radar key...
LOL I have have to say that did make me giggle. Good job we can laugh at ourselves. Did you look round to see if anyone had noticed! Hope you enjoyed your shopping xx
The funny thing is that the first time I went out with my wig I was in a wheelchair and my husband and I were in one of those open single disabled lifts in full view of everyone in John Lewis when bless him he bent downbeat I give me a little kiss and the Velcro on his jacket caught my wig and it flew off 😂😂I’m beginning to see a theme here ... wigs shopping and I don’t seem to go together 🤣
😁 I'm lending my short wig to my hubby and my hairdresser is styling it as Sonny Crocket (Miami Vice) for an 80s stag night . I hope he brings it back because I'm seeing my Onc next week and the indication is 2nd line chemo!!!!!!!!
We need a bit of a giggle in this trying times. Must have been a very strong wind in the UK. My late wife did not have such an issue because of our religious obligation. She wears head scarf when going out. But religion apart we share so many things in common. God bless all of you ladies.
I was always frightened of that happening. The other situation was when someone gave me a hug and locked their arms around my "hair" - I'd have to grab for my wig to stop them pulling it off my head...
Good for you! I’d have taken the wind as a sign to keep the wig off. I have scars that are visible and I am proud of them. They are battle scars that say I have survived so far and intend to survive for a much longer time!
