Saw this, made me chuckle! As I'm currently suffering the most god awful night sweats (not sure why...get about 2-3 a month since last op) I thought this was very apt!

I actually laughed out loud when I saw this, love love love it!

Those sweats are the pits aren't they and no one really talks about them, I sleep,with a soft towel,on my pillow to be able to mop my face hopefully without waking up!!! I've not seen my pillowcase for ages!!!

Last night was just the worst! Fortunately my hubby was away at his son's but i woke up utterly drenched. My pillow, the sheets, the underside of the duvet...all were soaked through. As i stood up to waddle into the bathroom to fetch a towel it was literally dripping off me! And then of course, I was freezing cold! And now facing a ridiculously cold and sopping wet bed! A normal person would have changed the sheets and hunkered back down...me? I crawled into my very fluffy (and DRY) dressing gown and just slipped back into bed, pulled the hood over my head and prayed my woes disappeared

Always good to have a huge towel nearby to put on the sheet when that happens!!! Trouble is as you said the next minute you're wet and cold - it's quite weird isn't if?!

Hi ladies and so good to hear that I'm not the only one plagued by these horrendous sweats ( finished 3rd line in November ).

I slept (or tried to ) with the window wide open last night; hubby wasquaking with cold under the duvet! Me? Lying starkers on the bed literally dripping - not a pleasing sight! !!

Anyone have any tips to try to help all this? ?? Xxx

My boobs are the size of Bournemouth and I've been known to wedge a roll of tissue under them. Ugh.

ha ha!. just what I needed, I just have mild sweats at night so just kick the duvet off, also during the day and just mild, but my husband keeps putting the fire on and I am having to take my jumpers off as I suddenly start glowing! Happy New year, and hopefully not such a wet one!

Poor you Jeanette...sometimes if i wake up in time, i catch the 'sweat' before it becomes a torrent...but others, i'll wake up in a full downpour! Other times (like last night) i'm chilly all night (when there's no difference to the air temp around me)...my darling late Mum used to say, 'WOMEN DON'T GET HOT FLUSHES; THEY GET POWER SURGES' I'm sure i have a fridge magnet with that on! A great way to look at it i suppose x
