You must be feeling very sad. Was it a sudden surprise or were you expecting it? It’s good it didn’t happen while you were in Uganda.

I'm so very sorry to hear your Dad has died. I send my heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. What a sad thing to happen so soon after coming home from your marvellous month of training the midwives in Uganda. I'd missed your Post and didn't know you were home until I just checked.

I’m so sorry for your sad news, I don’t know if it was expected but then we’re never really ready for this are we?

I hope you can take some comfort that he was able to see you do such good and valuable work in Uganda and was able to be so very proud of.you, as we all are, and also to see you arrive safely back home.

So very sorry. I lost my dad just before my big op and was too ill to go to the hospital to see him. I so wish that he had been there to see me come home. Sending much sympathy.
