Are any of you ladies going to the open day on 3rd March in London? I hope to, have a ticket; perhaps some of us cd touch base? Wear a red ribbon on wrist or something?

I’ll never remember who put up their hand. Maybe we could also write our forum names on our badges. I did that at the Target Ovarian day in Brighton and it worked well.

Anna, is it actually “sold out”? I know the tickets were intended to give a guide to attendance, but I’m wondering if the hall also has a maximum capacity?

I haven’t got my ticket yet (was waiting for a bit more (positive?!) news on how my treatment is going), but I am definitely interested 😊 I’ll have scan results on Thursday, so will sign up after that, and report back.

A few years ago a group of folk from this forum arranged to meet up in London the night before at a hotel and go for a meal together and then to the Members' Day in the morning.... It was the start of something very special... I wasnt able to come down but it was wonderful to hear all about it.... Sx

Hello All

Following this discussion, I have various bits to let you know:

- We don't usually do name badges at the Members Day but we'll do them this March and we'll have extra sticky labels so you can put your forum name on there too

- We've added 10 extra tickets to Members Day, so please do register while these are available

- We'll be doing more regional events in 2018 called 'Ova to You' so these will be further opportunities to meet those near to you. The first 2 are in Bath (18 January) and Bristol (25 January) and we'll let you know further places/dates as these are organised.

Do let me know if there's anything else you would find helpful.

I’ve just booked a ticket on eventbrite (or hope I have). I very much hope to come and meet people on the day. I shall find a teal badge and hope to find some of you.

Anna, not sure how the system will link my booking with my forum name. Can I fill a badge in on the day when I arrive?

Hi Tania

Yes, we'll have badges with your name that the ticket's registered under, then when you arrive and collect your badge you can take a sticky label and write your forum name on it to stick under your name badge.

I'm going. It will be my second - I was in the midst of chemo last time and very afraid. It's nice to still be here a year on and would love to meet others in person though I'm not very vocal here on the forum. I read it every day. We're all in this together. x
