Must a 21day cycle be exactly that no of days? To be done whether its holiday or wkend in hosp? Can it be shorten to 18days? This is since working day rates n holiday rates r different...

It may depend upon your particular regime, but there was a two-day leeway on the trial I was on, which was supposed to be every fourteen days. I don’t think many chemo wards are open Xmas day and Boxing Day either. So some will have to be a day earlier or a day later.

Why not ask your CNS?

21 or longer. When I asked would the cycle be shortened - as there was a Bank Holiday that had pushed my second chemo a day late, and I expected the third would be back to Monday, the nurse clinician said firmly, "No!" I was then on a Tuesday cycle. The body needs time to recover.
