Itchy legs

Anyone awake?? This last few days my lower legs and ankles have started itching. I am on Avastin anyone else had this? Maybe because I have been wearing long boots!! Just worth an ask!!

I'm awake! 7 am, that's good for me, my brain and body on energised overload too many meds and weekly chemo!,😳

All sorts of weird leg symptoms going on . I was on avastin but couldn't continue. But I think any drug chemo or immunotherapy can cause us ladies a range of different aching, itchy, stabbing etc leg pains.

Reflexology calms my feet and legs down.

warm bath , with drops of chamomile in, gentle leg massage from ankles to knee strokes with bio oil or other gentle cream like aveeno. And only wear those boots for short periods of time. Indoors I wear soft top socks and put feet up whenever I rest.

Yes definitely get itchy legs from time to time. Worse if forget to moisturise or use something different in shower . Seem to be a lot more sensitive. Have 3 more Avastin to go and counting down !!!

Thanks for the reply. Always nice to hear other people have similar things. Good luck with you last Avastin. On the train to the marsden for ct and Mri scan!!!

Hope the ct and mri goes ok . Try and stay relaxed although easier said than done with all that noise and shaking. Am amazed they haven’t been able to improve the process to make quieter!

Hope you have got some things planned in the diary to keep you busy while you are waiting for results .

My GP prescribed me something for itching-not necessarily legs-and it works. Called something like citirizine.
