Atta girl. I'm going to try shuffle around our leisure lake this p.m. with little Max and two friends who will be playing aunties. Just picking Max up is a struggle but I do it as much as I can. He's just having a nap while the boys work so Nana gets some rest time too. Wish I was well so that I could enjoy him more.

Hi Zena

I live in the west of Ireland and Ophelia had us in her sights. The power went for a few hours and I had to improvise on cooking. I was meant to have my three monthly check up today but all outpatients appts in the country were cancelled. Was just watching TV when the power went again now. Now I have to find my bed in the dark ! Still at least my iPad and phone are working. Take care

Hi Zena

Still no power this morning so now in the nearest town having a full Irish breakfast and charging my phone and iPad batteries. We don't realise how much we need our devices until they stop working. I won't even describe my attempts at baking potatoes in the stove ! Let's just say I'm no threat to Nigella. Have a lovely day.
