Decided to go to Leigh on Sea for the day - despite not being able to walk much and looking like my nana without my sunglasses, the sea air and fish & chips has done me the world of good!!

Hope everyone else has been able to enjoy the sunshine x

Glad you've had an outing. Think they do us the world of good, especially if the sun is out. Very nice photo! 😊Xx

A part of the world I know so well!

About ten years ago since I was there though. Scorching hot and a school trip with my daughters primary school. I got in terrible trouble for refusing to walk my 3 charges back in the heat to the coach but instead shoved them in a taxi at the station to go back to the meeting point. Spent an hour in the head mistress office after lol

You’re looking good. Hope the whole day was fab

I’m a teacher whose done lots of school trips and it really doesn’t matter as long as you get them back on time and safe and sound!! Anyway - there was no way I could make it from the sea front up those hills to the town so I don’t blame you!!!!

Glad you had a good day . Yes a little sun , the sea air and the sound of the waves all great for rehab . We always head to the coast if I need a boost both physically and mentally.

And definitely fish and chips a must 😀 Reminds me of when I had my second drain of ascities the week before I started chemo . My hubby had got soup for supper as I hadn’t been able to eat properly due to the ascities. We came home from hospital and I made him stop for fish and chips . Tasted great 👍

Wishing you many more happy days Becky 💜 love Kim x

Good to have days like this to remember in the middle of long nights when everything is so dark and depressive xx

You're looking relaxed and lovely. And I bet your nana was a fine looking woman.

We've got some sunshine as well. Heading out for a lovely walk in the park soon.

Take care.

Loving that Becky!

Used to live in Leigh on sea, back in the day, haven’t been there for like a lifetime, anything that makes you feel good has to be the best in anyone’s book.

Have sun on my back too in Fuerteventura 😎⛱🍷😀👍xx

That’s a lovely pic and the sun really does lift your mood doesn’t it? I’m on chemo too and have found getting out in the fresh air definitely helps even if I’m not in the mood!

Hope you’re feeling better and have a good week ahead! ☺️
